Mini Me wood – update

I have just taken the dogs round Mini Me wood….the saplings that were planted on behalf or Schools and nurseries 3 years ago now are doing well (despite this really wild, windy weather)

A few of the saplings perished last winter with the extreme weather but most made it through OK. Those that died were replaced in the Spring.

I will take photos to post next time…but they are still a long way from being towering trees!!

Art competition prizes

continuing the ‘nature in your grounds’ theme I have decided to use the same great prizes for the Christmas period as they have been so popular.

 

The prizes include hedgehog houses, bug hotels, forest bird boxes and bee hives amongst other great creature habitats!

Christmas artworks

The Christmas rush has started…the first artworks to make into Christmas cards landed today – and they look great!

The hard part will be choosing which ones will go into the September competition final.
